 The
Alcocks Hygiene Division is dedicated to maintaining
this vital cleaning service to all commercial and
industrial premises. This is service benefits
establishments and safeguards hygiene standards. The
object of which is to remove Sanitary Waste thus
removing the food source of bacteria. Breeding bacteria
has a greater chance in wash room areas as the areas are
usually moist and have ideal growth conditions. A
bacteria source left without regular changing and
removal will become airborne and is released into the
atmosphere and thus increase the risk of infection apart
from giving off a terrible odour.
Sanitary Bin maintenance involves combine
efforts of highly trained staff correctly attired with
gloves and chemical formulations. This maintenance
service is not designed to take the place of the daily
cleaner but rather to assist as they should not be
handling high risk bacteria by-products for obvious
health and safety reasons.

Our team at Alcocks Hygiene undertake to
standardize the works procedure as follows:
When cleaning the
Bin:
The bin will have a chemical preparation sprayed into
it, be cleared out, re sprayed and sanitised.
A plastic liner bag will then be placed into it along
with a smell inhibitor chemical and sanitizer powder.
The old bag will immediately be placed into a non
see-through disposable bag and then transferred to a
carry bag for easy removal.
Bin Lid:
Each Lid will be sprayed with a disinfectant and
sanitized before replacement of the liners.
Entire Bin
removal:
Removal of the entire bin if contaminated will be at the
discretion of the hygiene supervisor. An appropriate
calculation of frequency will be applied and recommended
accordingly in relation to the number of ladies likely
to make use of the sanitary bin.
Contents Disposal:
On removal of the contents the handling of the contents
will be in the most discreet and unobtrusive manner by
our trained staff. Upon return to our premises the waste
product shall be sent for incineration or disposed of
(in an appropriate manner). This is determined by a
government recognised Waste Management Service retained
by our company. Documentation can be called for and will
be made available on request.
No washing or rinsing
of bins or lids will be done on the clients premises.
Should soiling or damaging occur to a Sanitary Bin, it
will be replaced.
Discretion is our operative word.
